Please join us for a special November meeting in conjunction with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and the Zonta Says No campaign.

Carlene Firmin MBE

Carlene is Principal Policy Advisor to the Office of the Children’s Commissioner Inquiry into child sexual exploitation in gangs and groups. She is the head of the MsUnderstood Partnership and writes a monthly column for Society Guardian.

In 2011 she was awarded an MBE for services to Women and Girls Issues in the News Years Honours list.

She will share a fascinating presentation relating to her research issues concerning violence against women and girls.
